Our call to action: Start by paying more for coffee. But don’t stop there.
We urgently stress that the entire coffee sector, as well as you the coffee consumers to face up to this crisis and we cannot pretend that business can be carried on as usual to continue.
This is when Global and Fairtrade Australia come into play to prevent many stressors from affecting the coffee culture not only by way of trade such as lessening the increasing disparity levels of growing poverty and the rich from getting richer, a sustainable development problem crisis and giving back to communities for both the retailer through to the farmer and those involved in the supply chain.
Fair Trade is the only global sustainability label that guarantees a minimum price for coffee.
Currently, coffee is booming but farmers are earning less than a dollar a pound for their beans. Our purpose at Coffee Organico is to give back to the developing infrastructure of these poorer countries, Nepal, Colombia and Brazil, from where our 100% Organic Arabica green beans are sourced. We give back through following means to the community by supporting their:

- Grow the community and local business
- Better tool for a better life for farmers, workers and their families
- Fair trade minimum price
- Fair trade premium
